A prisoner from Woodbridge, Suffolk has been on the run and updating his friends about life on the run via popular social networking site Facebook. A British burglar, Craig Lynch was serving 7-years jail term in an open prison when he absconded and worried the local police when he started to update his activities via Facebook. Craig has been updating his life o his 248 friends on Facebook.
Police are trying to use the clues left on the website to trace his activities. A Police spokesperson said that the police also appealed to Craig’s friends to co-operate in helping the Police locate the whereabouts of Craig. “We are also using the information we have and anything that appears on his site to try and locate him. “I would appeal to anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Suffolk Police,” she said.
A photograph on the page shows Lynch looking at the camera and holding up a finger in an apparent defiant gesture.
