Palm, one of the first gadget firms to offer solutions in the handheld device markets. Palmtop is still a synonym used to denote a handheld mobile gadget. Wih Blackberry and Aple beating Palm in their own game, they have bounced back with a couple of great devices- Palm Pre and Palm Pixi.
The company has announced three mew feature news for the smartphones. More to follow soon.With an update I WebOs both Pre and Pixi are now video recording capable. Yet to be seen how good the recording quality is but trusting the Palm brand we can be pretty sure its gonna be great. There is also I-hone like ‘trimming’ feature to trim video clips. You can also upload them directly to Youtube and Facebook.
Another feature that was added to Palm Pre only is the 3d gaming ability. This has been a lacking feature in Palm so far and with pre this has been corrected. They showcased EA’ Sims 3 and Need For Speed as the pre-loaded games. There are other games available for purchase from Palm’s US store.
Palm Pre has also been decked with improved Flash capabilities within Palm’s browser. So with this enhancements Palm has covered mostly all grounds in terms of content-reading and displaying capability.
