What would you say if you are told that Apple Iphone is not the best phone anymore? Disbelief, surprise, annoyance ( if you have an Iphone) and confusion would grip you instantly. An iphone beater is actually here. Maybe we need to see it in the slightly longer run, but Motorola Milestone has created such a hype and furore that the handset sold out in less than three hours of its launch. Together with Droid, Milestone sold around 250,000 sets in the first of launch in the US.
To start with Milestone has a 5MP camera, which of course is not the best around but is better than Iphone’s flashless 3MP. Iphone’s browser has issues with Flash sites, while the Milestone supports Flash 10. Even the resolution is 3 times better than an Iphone display. Storage wise you can use a MicroSD and expand upto 32GB as per your need. With an Iphone you are stuck with a fixed storage.
When it comes to QWERTY, every mobile maker is going crazy. Milestone claims to have world’s thinnest QWERTY keyboard. The biggest talking point has been the Android 2.0 platform, which has apparently killed Windows Mobile and is surely pushing boundaries.
To sum it up, it seems like Motorola Milestone has everything that an Iphone does plus more. Technically its better and it looks fairly good too. Let’s just wait for the stocks to come back, shall we!
